The bible say to train up a child in the way he should go (Proverbs 22:6) We believe that God gave us this crew, it's our job to raise them and train them. Homeschooling isn't bringing the school system into the home, it's teaching them to have a learning spirit. The lessons aren't just in books, they're in every day life. Even though it's a struggle, I want my children to learn right beside me. Victoria is a great example. She always wants to be with me, even cleaning the bathroom. When we're having company she likes to wash the bathroom mirrors while I do the sink and toilet. 

Yes, we do book work. We love the gather round curriculum and Masterbooks. We enjoy storybooks and audiobooks, Abby is an amazing reader. Each child has a different learning style, which one great reason to homeschool. 

Another reason why we homeschool is that we want to set them up with a good strong foundation. We pray that they will have a strong relationship with God and that they will be able to defend their faith.
